- Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.
