- Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

- But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
- Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
- And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
- But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
- Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.Next verse!With image
