- Commit thy works unto the Lord,
and thy thoughts shall be established. - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - The liberal soul shall be made fat:
and he that watereth shall be watered also himself. - He that followeth after righteousness and mercy
findeth life, righteousness, and honour. - Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old, he will not depart from it. - Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life. - As in water face answereth to face,
so the heart of man to man. - A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity.
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.Next verse!With image
