- Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
- Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

- As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things. - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
- Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - The Lord will vindicate me;
your love, Lord, endures forever—
do not abandon the works of your hands. - Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.
- Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always. - One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple. - For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
- All this also comes from the Lord Almighty,
whose plan is wonderful,
whose wisdom is magnificent. - For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
- And every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
- He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.” - This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
- But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
- The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.
Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
