- This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.

- ‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die. - I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing!
- One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
- Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins; and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

but let your heart keep my commandments,
for they will add to you length of days,
years of life, and peace. - Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul.
Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.
