- For the Lord loveth judgment,
and forsaketh not his saints;
they are preserved for ever:
but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
- And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
- The Lord is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
- Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
- For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
- And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - Ye that love the Lord, hate evil:
he preserveth the souls of his saints;
he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
- Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.
- When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - Let thine eyes look right on,
and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:
but the word of our God shall stand for ever. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works.
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord:
let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:
and thy glory above all the earth. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.Next verse!With image
