- Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - Since thou wast precious in my sight,
thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee:
therefore will I give men for thee,
and people for thy life. - For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- In God is my salvation and my glory:
the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. - I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
- For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
- But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
- I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
- To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
- Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. - The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. - For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- As far as the east is from the west,
so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. - And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.
- For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
- The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
